VetPerks · Powered by Paths for Heroes

A local revenue engine for the veteran mission.

VetPerks.app is operated by Paths for Heroes LLC as a veteran discount directory and merchant sponsorship platform. Local businesses pay to reach veterans, veterans discover useful discounts, and that business revenue helps move the mission forward.

This page compares operating models, not the worth of organizations. Wounded Warrior Project, VFW, and American Legion are legitimate organizations with their own donation, membership, event, advocacy, and program models. VetPerks is built around a different starting point: local commerce.

One local transaction can do more than advertise.

The VetPerks model connects a merchant benefit to a veteran benefit and a mission benefit. The platform is designed to grow with the local business network instead of waiting for a separate donation cycle.

01

Merchant sponsorship

A local business sponsors visibility in the VetPerks network and makes its veteran offer easier to discover.

02

Veteran discovery

Service members and veterans find nearby businesses, discounts, and resource pathways through the directory.

03

Local business revenue

Businesses receive visibility and the chance to build loyal local customers while participating in the mission.

04

Mission deployment

Paths for Heroes uses the operating model to support platform work, veteran outreach, and a reserve for mission needs.

The distinction: a VetPerks sponsorship is a business transaction that supports a mission. It is not a charitable donation, is not assigned to one individual veteran, and should not be represented as tax-deductible.

Different ways to organize support for veterans.

The short comparison below focuses on how each model is commonly structured and where local benefit can show up. It is not a ranking of organizations or a claim about any group’s financial performance.

That operating frame supports concrete pathways rather than a vague promise: veteran resource navigation, housing pathway work and housing assistance, food-access outreach and feeding families, and PTSD therapy support. See current receipts and published resources to understand what is live today.

The percentages are an operating framework, not a promise that a sponsor fee is individually assigned to one veteran or one program. Follow the live receipts for the latest reporting.

Back the loop or use it.

Merchants can sponsor the network and connect with veteran customers. Service members and veterans can use the existing homepage signup flow to hear about new discounts and resources.
